"Zero" weight Mobil 1
Am interested in any mid/long term feedback on this product; one day following change, car seems to be running about 5 degrees cooler versus higher visco oil, but no other difference noticed. Ambient temperature still summery. Thanks.

I have an 09 C2S. I did an oil change last week at 4000 miles 0w-40 and it ran 5 degrees cooler as well.
Now 300 miles on the new oil, it is back to where it was before the change around the 200 mark.

I have used Mobil 1 0w40 for years in my Carrera S cars and I track them heavily in the Florida heat. Recently....2500 miles ago I switched to Castrol Syntec 5w50 just to see if there was any change in oil temp at the track and the amount of oil I burned on the street and the track.
My report is there is no difference I've noticed based on the oil temp gauge that I can tell on the street or at the track. Also there is no difference in oil burning with the 5w50 vs the 0w40 weight or brands.

For me,
I have 22k miles on my 2009 right now and have used Mobil 1 0W40 the whole time. Since I haven't used a different brand or weight I can't speak to temperature or extraneous burning differences but so far my car is consuming oil within limits (something like 622miles/quart) and the temps have been very steady. On the street it stays right around 200 degrees and on the track, even this past summer, no more than 225 or 230-ish(?). Also, I've been changing the oil every 5k miles, too.
I know this topic is a hot one (read, beat to death) but I personally haven't been too compelled to switch weights or brands as of yet. I don't sample or run diagnostics on my oil so... At this point, all I know is it cools the engine, the oil doesn't burn excessively (at least to Porsche's tastes) and seems to work fine. YMMV.
