335 is a great car but when it comes to pure sports, the 911 has it beat. At the last track event we had a few modded 335s and while fast on the straights, when it came to the braking zones and corners, it was all over for them.

Love the Turbo II wheels. Congrats.
I just came from a modded 335i to a 997.2 myself, and while the Porsche would eat the Bimmer alive in the twisties, the 335i (with JB3) is much faster in a straight line.

GREAT looking car and that color really suits the 997, IMNSHO.
What a tragedy to run out of camera battery with that setting! And thanks for the pictures; they're stunning.
Enjoy your new ride!

Thanks for all the positive feedback. Yeah, it's a bummer the battery ran out while I was snapping photos -- I only had time for two pics.
Anyhow, I recharged the battery and I'll update the first post with interior pics. The setting wasn't as great today.
(I just noticed that five is the maximum allowable attachments in one post. So I put two new interior photos in the first post and one in this one).

Well done, glad I could help. I like the turbo wheels as well. Sounds like you were careful not to drive the 997 and the M3 back to back! The M3 is much more of a GT - but I'm really fond of my daily commute in the 997 and look forward to bombing every off ramp I ever get!
