10-Car Dream Garage

10-Car Dream Garage
My best friend and I used to sit around and dream of the cars that would be in our ultimate dream garage. You'd think that this would be a one-time sort of conversation, but no, it's a conversation we kept revisiting over beers and darts for years.
I was daydreaming about my dream garage again, 20 years later, and realized that the like-minded members of this forum either already have or likely would enjoy coming up with their version of this list.
So, the rules are that each car on the list has to be a production road car. Production can mean as few as a handful were made, but it has to be something that one can drive on the road. It may be tough, but you have to limit your list to 10 cars. And, to further limit the list, these would be the ONLY ten cars in your garage. In other words, these would be the only 10 cars that are available to your household, and they would have to do everything you need a car to do (road trip with the kids, run to Home Depot, grocery shopping, pickup the x-mas tree, take the dogs to the beach, etc.)
As for budget - assume you have Ralph Lauren or Bruce McCaw's checkbook.
Feel free to force rank your list...and note that my list is not force ranked.
My list, in no particular order:
1. 1973 Porsche 911 RS Carrera touring
2. 1963 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso
3. 1961 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato
4. 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL
5. 1972 Lamborghini Miura SV
6. 1957 Porsche 356 Carrera Speedster
7. 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 NART Spyder
8. 2009 Porsche Carrera 4 Targa (1 out of 10 ain't bad)
9. 2011 Aston Martin Rapide
10. 2011 Mercedes Benz E63 AMG Wagon

Yeah, that's the problem. If you don't limit the list somehow...like 10 and only 10 cars...the list is pretty long.
I'm sure, without breaking a sweat, I could name a 40-car long list within 30 minutes.
Ferrari Italia
GT2RS
993 Turbo S
Ferrari Dino
550 Spyder
959
These would have all made the long list...and that took about as long as it took to type.

Honestly... I don't know that I need 10 cars....
I'm thinking of a garage like a basic food pantry of bread, milk, eggs, and cheese... Me, I'm not into the classics, I want all relatively new production cars.
1) Lamborghini Super Veloce
2) Ferrari Enzo
3) Corvette ZR1
4) Porsche GT3 or Turbo S
5) Ferrari 458
6) Aston Martin DB9
7) Pagani Zonda
8) Bughatti Veyron
9) Some Sort of Bently
10) Some Sort of Rolls Royce
C'mon PowerBall! That, or maybe Jay Leno can adopt me

I'll play...
Exotics:
McLaren F1
Carrera GT
Daily Driver:
Cayenne Turbo
Crazy HP for the Mile:
TT/SC Ford GT
Track Cars:
GT3RS
360 Stradale
Nice Day 'Vert:
Whatever the current mid-engine V8 Ferrari is
Sporty Daily:
911 Turbo
Other:
Blue w/ White Stripes Viper GTS with Stroker Motor
Classic Ferrari
Odds are I'd need another daily if I had a family. I'd go with a Quattroporte GTS and drop the GT3RS. Love the Zonda too but I'm out of garage spots and I don't think I'm cool enough to drive one

Another way to do it is to pick a car at set price points...
Say
20-30k
30-40k
40-60
60-80
80-100
100-120
120-140
140-200
200-250
And so on. Makes it much tougher than listing some exotic cars at high prices.

1.) Ferrari 458
2.) GT2 RS
3.) Carrera GT
4.) Koenigsegg Agera
5.) Aston Martin DB9
6.) M3 Coupe
7.) Quattroporte GTS
8.) Q7 V10 Diesel

10.) Diamond Coach - pulling a 30' car hauler
But I'll also settle for any of the ones listed above.

As was noted, it seemed easy until you realize:
- 10 is either too small or too large a number. I can easily pick 3, or 50, but not 10.
- It is very hard to 'break down' the problem (how many classics, how many sedans, how many supercars, etc?)
- How many 'drivers' do you want, versus object de art? (such as the Zonda)
Anyway, here's my list. Whatever you may say, I'm missing something and have something here that is debatable.
Comments welcome.
V
Ford GT (2005)
Porsche Carrera GT (2005)
Tesla Roadster 2.5 (2011)
Rolls Royce DHC (2011)
Ultima GTR
Citroen SM
Corvette L88 Coupe (1967)
Pagani Zonda R (2010)
Ferrari 599 GTO (2011)
Porsche 918 Spyder (mid-run build)
