Who's your canine co-pilot?

It's quite easy to take the back seats out all together. The bottoms just pull off (attached with velcro) and the back part can be removed with an allen wrench. I did this to try to get more room for the child seat, but ended up putting them back on because it fits better with them in. I just take the bottom out when the dog rides along and throw a blanket directly on the carpet.

My canine co-pilot
Molly (a 5 year old Schnoodle) goes everywhere with me, including to the office every day. She likes riding in the Porsche, but her favorite ride is my motorcycle (a Goldwing in the photo, now a Yamaha FJR).

Restraint?
I know this is an old post, but we're going to try taking our Dog to Carmel in the Targa this weekend.
Anybody have advice for a nervous medium-sized dog in the back of the 997? Seats up or down?
Seems like getting a harness and trying to get her to use the seat is the right idea. That and a boatload of towels.
Other ideas?
Thanks,

Orvis also sells dog seat belts. I bought 2 for my Boxers, waiting until the weather cools off over the next couple of months to start giving them rides with the top down :-)

my wife bought one after her friend said it worked. Unfortunately, I hasn't worked for us.
