You spend 24 hours on an unexpected vacation wishing you would have done the above.

You know you're a 997 driver: -when you just don't want to drive your car on a boring highway and take it on a twisty road so you can really feel the car

-when you can't wait for the weekend to take you car on the track

-when you smile after seeing rubber ball marks all over the car reminding you of the last weekend on the track

-when it doesn't matter whether there's rain or sunshine

And also you know when you're NOT a 997 driver when you just take your car out to fill up the tank and get it washed every weekend (there is an older guy in my apartment like that, the car always sits and always is shiny )

Sometimes if I get up in the middle of the night for a drink of water, I go by the garage and turn on the lights just to look at the car(s).

you're in a rental on business on a nice stretch and thinking how much better this drive would've been if you could've checked your ride w/your luggage.
