CA taxes are horrible. High state income tax, 9.75% sales tax, and on and on. And we get nothing for it.

At least with an effective tax rate in the 40 - 50% range, we should get some of the benefits they do in the European socialist countries like govt. sponsored healthcare, advanced education, etc. In CA we get, ummmm, well, hmmm, cough cough ....

 

CA should be left to mexican illegals, it is done state. there is no future there as they dug a perfect grave for themselves and will never even try to change anything.

MA is not much better but still there is at least some common sense left here.
