engine vibration at 2800RPM

I am getting a slight vibration at 2800 RPM when driving, standing still, clutch engaged, clutch not engaged.. I am guessing it could be a motor mount?

...just thinking....do you have aftermarket exhaust? If so go look at the brace that extends from the lower rear 1/4 panel and goes just infornt of each side muffler to the frame. Sometimes if that brace is not re-installed just right it cane touch the muffler and create a vibration.

I don't get a vibration but sometimes around 2800-3200 RPM I get what I call a slight settling of the engine.....

could it be the same thing?

If you mean a change in engine characteristics while accelerating this coincides with variable cam kicking in.
