Congrats on the new car.

What, no pictures?!

I have a Targa, so I didn't have a choice for narrow or wide body, but I would have chosen a wide body in any case. I think it does a nice job of paying homage to the 993...and IMHO took that styling to the next level. My biggest problem with the 996 when it came out is that the 911 had lost its hips. The 997 found them again, and the 4 and 4S even more so.

Why'd you get rid of the Cayman S?

Congrats, I bought an '08 C4 in October and absolutely love it. It handles well and the wide body from behind, oh my! I actually like to trail it when my wife drives it because it looks so sweet from back there. I've driven it once this winter in the snow and it handled reasonably well too.

Makes sense. I really like the Cayman, but it doesn't work for me for the same reasons...AND I'm all about at least a partially open top.

My fiancee and I took a 1k mile roadtrip after x-mas over 4 days and a whole variety of different roads and I'd argue pretty strenuously that the current 997 is one of the best GT's ever made.

Congratulations and enjoy!
