Lightbulb What to do with stock exhaust

So within 600 miles of a brand new 4s, I pulled off stock exhaust, and put on Tubi system. I am very happy with the Tubi, but now I have all three pieces of stock exhaust, sitting in attic. they are mint and still have the stickers on them.

what do most people do with their old exhaust? I was thinking of selling them.

When I had my 996 C4S, I sold it after installing PSE. I should have kept it and sold it separately, after returning the car to its original configuration before I traded it in. I would keep it as you'd probably not get much for it.

+1. Max value is probably reconfiguring to stock and selling the Tubi separately when you sell/trade-in the C4S. Have a look at the marketplace here -- resale on good aftermarket parts is pretty high, and the Tubi ain't cheap to start with.

Keep it unless you are really low on space (doesn't sound like it as you seem to have room in the attic) or really low on cash (also probably not the case). Only other reason is if you really love the Tubi AND you will keep your car for a really long time, like 10+ years and you want the space/cash.

You may want those to get the car back to OE when you move on, or to sell with the car while the Tubi's are still on, etc. They are very likely worth more to you, vs what they're worth on the used market. I think .1 stock mufflers are worth more due to folks doing Gundo hack, but I don't think that's the case for .2, although I'm not really following that issue and may have out-dated info...

I have the room to store mine so I definitely kept mine. Can't get much for it and might want to return the car to stock if I sell my car and the new owner doesn't like the sound of my AWE system.

yep, keep it. you're not going to get much money out of selling it anyways.

Keep it, you won't have the car forever. You'll need to go back to stock sometime.
