April 1st???
Maybe Friday the 13th as there are 13 uses of the word black in the original post's text.
I have a GTS on order so call me a sucker for an end of life vehicle config but the GTS seems to have a purpose, this seems to for someone who does not want to check the boxes on the config tool.
How about just adding black badging options, black calipers and a pre-config option to the Carrera, wouldn't this be the same thing.
Wonder if they will sell all of these?
Just strange.

Next we'll see the Mary Kay edition...
I must admit, I find the GTS car interesting, but this one is pretty embarrassing. A black car as a special edition? And selling less than 2000 models will hardly clear out excess sheet metal.
But ultimately anything that establishes positive feedback loops is fine with me. That is, selling more cars, meeting the new goals that their new parent has set for Porsche can only mean more money for R&D, and better cars for all of us.

I find it embarassing that a company of this calibre resorts to this to shift their wares. They must think potential purchasers are that gullible. Jumping on the Mustang/ F150 bandwagon. How many limited editions have they produced.
