VW management - "more more more" still can't figure this VW thing out. Ask a Porsche rep and he says they are sister companies. Go to the auto show and seems like VW is running with it and then go online and seems like VW owns Porsche and Porsche owns VW.
Trying to suck every last penny of the 997 variant Hehehe..

Ferdinand Piech is the boss of VW, his cousin Wolfgang Porsche the boss of Porsche, it`s more or less one dynasty that owns europe´s biggest carmaker. In reality nobody owns the other one. Both, Porsche and VW, are standing side by side, like both families are side by side.
The whole Porsche - VW deal cost both owner families a hell lot of money, so more than a valid reason to start the money train with Porsche and VW. They will squeeze out as much money as they can but in a way i understand that.
For 997 fanatics it is a disappointing special edition, but for newbies i think, this offer is quite attractive!
Imagine: Ur first Porsche, limited edition, less money and looking beautiful. Not much to complain about imho.

nice idea, a "black edition" should be really black and they could have also partly blacked out the wheels.
