i drove to foxwoods several times and always leave car on usual regular parking and never had issues. i jut usually park in between or next to moderatly expensive cars - bmw, merc, etc.

 

I would stay at Harrahs. If you tip them well enough they will let you leave the car in the front so that you can watch it or even self park it in a VIP spot. Harrahs is right next door to Borgata. Borgata will never let you leave the car in front or self park it no matter how much you tip them.

 

There are cameras all over the garage and a security guard patrols on a bike.

 

I have valet parked at the Borgata's Water Club and they left my window open even though I instructed them not to.

They have told me on several occasions that they comprehensively photograph the cars going into and out of the Water Club Valet for insurance purposes.

I think the valet parking at the Water Club is indoors. I don't know if it's indoors or outdoors at the main Borgata hotel.

I now park it myself in a far off corner of the main Borgata parking lot and have not had a problem with this approach.

 

This has been my experience at Borgata (main hotel) all summer 2010. Last visit, with car, October 2010.

We visit Borgata often in the summer months. Mostly for dinner & evening fun on weekends. Wife wears high heels & tries to limit the walking.

I use the valet for my new C4S all summer. However, "I self park" it along the curved curb on the right at the end of the valet area. I only do this if I am staying for a couple hours and leaving. Will cost you about $40 +/- depending on what night and how busy. But expect to pay at least that on a booming Sat. night.

They will place cones around it for you as well. I lock the car myself, however, their policy is they must hold the key. I tried but could not get around this. Valet manager will seal it in plastic bag and place it in the safe with your name on it. I tip the guy $10 again when I come out to retrieve the still sealed key from safe. Done this about 10-12 times. Never had a problem, car never moved nor touched. Always exactly how I left it. I note the mileage & position of valve stem on driver's side wheels before locking up. Usually a Bentley or Ferarri or two there on a summer Fri./Sat. night. So I'm usually in good company.

If you decide to use this method, when you pull into the valet section stay in the right most lane closest to the cab lane. Have money in hand & visable. Tell the attendant you want to park it along the curb yourself. Don't take no for an answer. They will wave you ahead to the right just past the cab stand. "Be careful" of the curb when parking. The section is curved, take your time and don't worry about getting close to the curb. Don't risk the wheels on the high curb.

For the record. I would NEVER allow any valet to get in my car let alone drive my car anywhere. If I can't park it myself we leave. My wife is totally on board and in fact, if we go to a new place, calls ahead to make sure there will not be an issue and gets a name. Borgata is the only place I have surrendered the key. I am still not totally comfortable about that but they have a decent system in place.

For an overnight stay, go to the top of the self-park garage as someone else advised. The very top is empty and you can find a spot where you will be safe from dings, dents and alike. There are video cams througout as well as mobile security. Others I know do same and I have heard of no problems. You can of course do this for a short evening visit as well.

I always go to the borgata. just went this weekend I always valet the Benz or Porsche and never had a problem. It's a high class place and those the right things for there customers.Don't be afraid to leave your car there.

 

I'd shoot myself in the face before I'd hand my keys over to a Valet.

 

Dude Park It! I go there twice month being that I live 30min away, and sometimes I'm tempted to valet, then I look at the guys face, first thing I think of is Ferris Bueller, I head toward the parking garage and park all the way in the back next to the other exotics that had the same mind set. Went to borgata year ago they lost my friends bmw for about 2hrs some how it was parked in a diffrent garage make a long story short i wouldnt esp your P-car.

but yeah I go to AC a decent amount and I always self park the z06 and never had a problem with someone F-n with it !

I dont trust valet's because I have heard them talk before and if you have a nice car chances are it will be out on the AC Xpressway while your gambling away!

 

The valets are pros and I don't think you'll have a problem. The $10-20 up front will guarantee that your ride gets special care. Ask them how much to leave the car somewhere out front for you so it's always in their sites. I've done that before.

Personally, the only cars I ever let a valet park were company lease cars, but that's just me. Use the valet and let us know how it turns out.
