Agree 100%.

I expect the performance to be superior, though.

(It will need it, to offset the ugliness)

kinda funny to see how those both brands shift their focus to more conservative audience. probably should improve sales.

I agree, it is a one fugly car and performance wise it is not a scud by all means.

From what I've read, it is going to be a 650hp AWD car with good distribution.

Sounds like a monster to me.

Immediately reminded me of the old BMW ZMCoupe (Clownshoe) by design. In-fact there are way too many references between the BMW Z3 and even some out of the Z4.

The interesting item will be their price-point, then you compare to the Panamera Turbo........ there is a whole-lotta spare $$$ between the two.

But like anything, seeing it in person may make a difference, BUT, the clear reference to the BMW will stick in many minds. (Especially those that are pure F-Car brand folks that would wrather take a stake in the heart before they hear someone ask them if its some new BMW). I'd bet if you put up a poll, removed the Ferrari badge, and asked people at first glance what car is it.......90%+ will come up with BMW)

it looks to have pretty high center of gravity compared to scud. all in all with this rear trunk it looks like a DD option answer to panamera than a high power sport car.

There have been several posts on this fugly thing on the Ferrari board here on 6speed. The body (high, ugly roof line to accommodate 4 seats, but only two doors) seems to be the answer to a question nobody was asking. If you wanted to compete with the Aston Rapide or the upcoming Lambo 4-door, why only give your ugly stepchild 2 doors?
Obviously, as the Romans said, 'de gustibus et coloribus non disputandum'. One should not argue about taste or color (meaning it is pointless).
So the above is only my personal opinion...

Why would you compare it to a scud? AWD and four seats...nothing a like a scud???? Totally different market, in fact complete opposite ends of the F-car spectrum. Like saying a Panamera is no GT2 - it's not supposed to be.

Well, that's not what I meant... If any car has 650hp, DCT with AWD, it is going to do fairly well.
