thx, ryem and alan !

the oem wheels i had was 19x 8.5 (front) and 11.5 (rear) but i had to use 7mm spacers to get it flush to the body.

same tire sizes on OEM and HREs - 235s and 305s

oem had pirellis and the HREs had PS2s when i weighed them.

Wow, I guess I stand corrected. Really surprised the rears are wider. Even the TT rims are only 11" wide in the rear, but 8.5" in the front. Yeah, the Pirellis are tanks and the PS2's are known to be pretty light tires. Guess it can make for a big weight change. I should weigh my turbo rims and tires for comparison...

alan000 is infamous around these parts
Wow I just looked up Tirerack.com and and found the weight of my Hankooks. 24 lbs front and 30lbs rear. The PS2s are 22lbs front and 28 rear. Pirellis pzero rossos are 24lbs front and 28 lbs rear. Guess the Hankooks are heaviest Heh looks like my next tires are PS2s...

Great choice of wheels man!

Even the old ones look great but the weight difference is huge...

It is crazy how much you can gain from simple mods that for most people look cosmetic only...

BTW, does anyone know how much the stock 997.2 C2 wheels weight? I am talking about the oem ones...

looks great, crazycarlitos! You'll love HRE wheels... except when cleaning but the charcoal finish minimizes that need compared to brushed finish I have on my P40s. Polished lip matches nicely w/ your chrome exhaust tips too

Enjoy

Nothing like a new set of wheels to make the car look better. Congrats, they look good. The weight savings is a huge performance upgrade, better acceleration, braking and cornering.
