Fister Exhaust (Gundo/PSE) Before & After video
I know many threads have been posted regarding the PSE/Gundo hack but I thought it'd be nice to share a Before & After video for those of you wondering what it sounds like. Theres a warm start, a driveaway, and a driveby in the video.
Just had a Fister Sports Muffler placed by Darren himself in the SF Bay Area on my 2007 997 C2. I believe he uses a 1.75 stainless steel pipe with high quality welding as seen on his website (no affiliation) fdmotorsports.net
Anyway, hope you enjoy the video taken with my iPhone.

These are not "Gundo hacked" or PSE. These are stock mufflers with the Fister Modification. I think the OP listed those other things in parenthesis so people searching those things would see this thread.

I did a gundo hack on stock 997.1 mufflers with a 1 1/2" pipe...It sounds a little light, and I'd like a little more "throaty sound"....Any advice on what I should do, AWE 200 cats, something else? What would be the cost of any of this? Should I go back to PSE? I live in Southern Oregon; not sure I'm concerned about horsepower...Did I just say that !!
Thanks for any assistance

Interesting. I did a 2" pipe which I absolutely love but mywife thinks they are too loud at wide open throttle (pretty quiet at regular cruise) and I was wondering which sized pipe I should try to tone them down a bit. Is the 1 1/2" louder than stock? How does it compare with the 2" pipe?
