Need some advice - rear bumper

A few weeks ago I gave the valet my '06 997 and a nice tip. In return he gave me my 997 back and a nice scrape on the left rear bumper cover.

I can bring it to a body shop for repair but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for replacing the bumper with something aftermarket.

I looked at TechArt but didn't see anything that really caught my eye.

Thanks in advance!

I'm in the same boat. Looking for options. Considering......

http://www.fvd.de/us/en/Porsche-0/99...ar_Bumper.html

http://www.gt3tek.com/997.htm (But I think this is 997.1 only; haven't inquired)

http://www.gmgracing.com/porsche_aero.shtml Not much specifically from GMG, but TechArt here.

http://www.porscheshop.co.uk/acatalo...per_parts.html More factory options

http://evsmotors.com/index.php/2010/...etrofit-parts/ These look great but don't appear to be selling the rear....

I'm thinking of buying one sometime in the future, maybe one year out or so. Not a rush for me, then, but I waffle back and forth about center exhaust, bumperettes, and .1 or .2 lights. I know that I'll want the GT3 side vent things.
At this point, I think I'd want center exhaust, no bumperettes, the side vents and the .2 top center vent, plus provision for the oem .2 LEDs.
It would be great if someone would make a matrix of the OEM and aftermarket options that includes the following:
- Fits .1 and/or .2
- center exhaust or dual
- manufacturer / distributor
- cost
- construction material (fiberglass, CF, etc)
- takes .1 Or .2 lights
- bumperettes or not, US or Euro plate width
- side vents?
- center vent (.2)?
- did I miss anything?

Maybe I could do this if I get motivated...

KKmoto, I am liking that rear from GT3tek.

Is that what JEllis had on his car?

I believe JEllis had an OEM GT3 rear bumper installed on his car. Awcayenne has the GT3tek bumper.

Rinspeed "Indy" bumper here.

I like the fact that it doesn't have the bumperettes.

Actually the GT3TEK bumper comes without the bumperette cutouts for euro look. Only if you choose to use the bumperettes that you make the holes. And it is easily done.

+1 for the gt3tek bumper. i ordered from joel and got the 6speed special even tho i live in canada. the bumper is poly and solid construction. my car is still in storage but i can't wait to take it out and slap this on.
