997 Side Mirrors

997 Side Mirrors
Man I love these side mirrors!
This is my first Porsche, you guys may be taking your mirrors for granted, but let me tell you about about my last 3 Corvettes (2 C5's and one C6 Z06)... the Vette's mirrors shake/rattle/roll when crank the stereo up...
Get a good tune with some bass and you can't see out of them and the buzzing from the mirrors will drive you nuts!
The 997 Mirrors are rock solid... Got a new MP3 Player to plug in, jamming at full volume, I was amazed I could still see out the side mirrors.

It may be an Amercian car thing since I never had any issues with my last 6 cars (5 BMWs and 1 MB).
But agreed that the 997s do feel rock solid. AND, there is no comparison with the drive!
