EVOMS intake installation question

How am I supposed to connect #1 to #2? I think that pipe (#1) is not big enough to fit to the filter (#2).

Mine came assembled, but it looks the same. There is a coupler between the filter and the pipe that reduces the size. It is only about an inch long. In the picture of mine, you can't even see it, but the filter couples to it and then the coupler connects to the pipe. Hope you figured it out.

Thanks for all comments guys. I figured it out and installed it perfectly.
I really love the new, aggressive sound.

Btw, it wasn't easy to put the MAF sensor back into the EVOMS intake pipe. It took me about 15 minutes.

Again, thanks guys

No, it isn't easy, it is a very tight fit, as it should be. Be SURE it is mated fully down into the slot. Pretty tight, but important to get it flush.
