Best tool to reset maintenance and error codes on 997?

Its not an ideal solution, but its better than nothing. The dealer could probably set it to the correct value you should have.... so it indicates when the next service of whatever kind, is due. Duramertric can only assume you did a major service and reset to the next major service interval from today (2 years or 20k miles down the road). But it does shut the light off... just cannot get it to come back on when I want it .

Most do it shorter anyhow and some of these cars do not get driven enough that the 1 year interval is followed. So if there is a way to just turn off the service minder it might be betterj.

The reminders are set to a mileage AND a time, so the issue of not driving enough is irrelevant. The reminder would come on after a set time (1 year or whatever) regardless of mileage. My first reminder from new did that... after one year and about 4800 miles, it indicated service time.
On my 1994 VW Golf I could set the service reminders by hand like setting the clock.
On a 2009 Porsche I cannot set the reminders at all. Really a stupid way for a car company to drive customers to service at dealerships if you ask me.... but that seems to be Porches MO.
