I would have used the bumper plugs (had 2 on my C4S and they looked great),but the 4 holes dealer drilled were uneven, couldn't believe it when I saw it..
Oh well, time to plug the holes and re spray it.

+1 on a 997.2 GT3 bumper (with matching rear, of course..)

Get a life.
Chill guy, no one is calling you an idiot!! I'm referring to the people who sold me the car.

You get a life, or even better an anger management treatment.
Ouf, my mistake V, don't worry I'm not nuts.

If you want to solve the situation I had the same problem and got bumperblugs, did a good job. Nothing perfect, but better than drilled holes.

Respect.

My car has the same issue: bought it, took off the front license plate cover (no front plates needed in GA) and there were 4 beautiful holes in my bumper.

Had already ordered 2 bumperplugs, which look great. Figure I'll fill them all in when it's time for a respray.

For me personally I don't think that looks very good at all.
I think i'd rather look at 4 uneven holes. Sorry

Did the same.. But what's disturbing is that I asked the seller 3-4 times if there were more that 2 holes in the bumper(since the front plate was on the car). He assured me that there wasn't... Surprise !!!

If you look around (eBay) you can probably find a used bumper someone replaced for a GT3 or Turbo one. I have seen them pretty cheap and in several colors. Might be cheaper than a repair and repaint.

Because we don't require front plates in GA and I shopped around for a pre-owned 997 out of state, this was a show-stopper for me if the car had a front plate bracket. I don't like the way they look, and it's expensive to repair properly...if I were you, I'd just bite the bullet and have a good body shop do the filling. You'll enjoy your car that you already paid $$$ much more!
