Last night, around 11pm, I was filling up at the Chevron on Washington @ Studemont (Houston, TX), and I saw a 997TT at a dead stop in the turning lane. After I got the gas pump started another random person started pushing his car. I realized he was trying to push start his car and ran over to help.

He got it started and immediately floored it. I was hoping to do some shameless self promotion (I'm always passively looking for a better job) or at least get a thanks. haha, just thought i'd share.

Possible that the TT owner wasn't the owner and that the driver (car thief) had stalled the car and couldn't restart electrically because the immobilizer had been activated? Just a thought as to why driver would have sped off without saying thanks.

 

At least you didn't get run over from behind. You were hoping for a job as a car pusher?

 

I think that's called aiding and abetting..
