After selling my 996 protomotive tt, I had serious w/d. The current state of buying any 997's was exhausting. Not sure if any of you had the same experience, but with the dollar weak used 997's are being bid up and exported. Worked a deal with trade for my 07 s4. Nothing but good things to say about the staff at Porsche Hilton Head. It was a fun drive, 15 hours there and 14 back in two days. Many if not all selling for over Manheim figures. It seems like I could of bought cheaper a year or so ago.

Anyway, I wanted something I could drive all year round in Chicago. I found my 2008 targa 4s at Porsche of Hilton head 7500 miles. Great condition it does not have the sport chrono, but if I chip the ecu thought I can activiate it any thoughts? Looking into some exhaust mods etc. Glad to be back.

 

Welcome back. Prices are heading up. And dealers are holding firm.


I don't think the SC is such a big deal but that is only my opinion. Not really necessary except in a pdk car.

FWIW, according to a number of dealers, Porsche on lease buybacks is setting the price above Manheim figures. Very low numbers of used cars available. I tried to buy a similar car with 14k miles had sc and pse but wanted like 8k more.

Mine was a trade taken in by the dealer so they had more room. Prices seem unreasonable right now. My brother in law bought a 09 c4s cab in the low 90's with a sticker around 117k when they could not sell any cars.
