Revo Software

Anyone using Revo software? Are you happy with it or would you recommend a different software?

Thanks in advance!

Recently installed and am evaluating this. Throttle remap makes the car feel more responsive as you would expect. As for actual performance gains I have no objective baseline to compare it to but over a familiar piece of road I am into 4th earlier. I think anyone who raves about these things is naive. If you have done the cats/exhaust and lightweight wheels this sort of thing may give you the mild horsepower gains you are looking for. I certainly would not recommend any other one over this. I have never tried any other. I would not do any of these if you are under warranty. Please do not read any negativity into this review. It's just that any mod to the throttle makes it impossible to do the "seat of the pants" thing. I would go with a tech/shop that you trust for this. Mine recommended Revo as "less generic" There are different levels of tune based on your mods and they will update it as you go if necessary. 47 guys will now post why A, B or C is better. I doubt it although there are some that you remove if you go to a dealer and then reinstall. Without this they may overwrite it with an update and it is gone. Oil temps may be up a bit but I won't be able to tell whether I am worried until it gets hot in NY. If you are bored or want to personalize or maximize you car and have done the other things first do it. Again the warranty thing. Don't let anyone tell you this is not a real issue with all of them. Wish I could be all "wowee" for you but thats not my style. When I meet my first gts I'll get back to you. I have a feeling it will be ok. Fyi this is an 06 S, 28K miles, IPD plenum, full AWE system, Champion 98's. Still loving it.
