some questions about new 997...
Hi,
still trying out my new 997. i have some questions that maybe some may know the answer to.
1) how do I get the a/c snowflake to go off, or is it always supposed to be on?
2) when i put the key to accesory, the passenger window moves slightly upwards. is this normal? it's as if it is re-closing or attempting to push upwards, even though the window is already fully up.
3) my sensor wear pad light went on, then after driving some time, turn off the car and restarted it, the light was gone. it is odd because the dealer told me that the brakes were in great shape when the car was delivered to me last week.
thanks for all your answers....

Welcome Antonio,
1) As answered before, use the ECO button. It does two things: stop the A/C in the passenger compartment and stops the cooling of the fuel to the injectors which is fine in winter or outside hot temperatures.
2) Mine does it too, and it is a very slight annoyance. You learn to live with it.
3) On my BMWs, I fix this kind of issue by removing the wheels and cleaning the pads sensors with brake cleaner. Sometimes, humidity and brake dust makes a conducting paste that may trigger the pads sensors erroneously. When you spray, be careful with your eyes and wear goggles preferably.
