Cabrio Top - Does it bead??
#18
Sorry to resurrect this one, but it is my understanding to use ONLY the "303 fabric protector" and not the aerospace on our Porsche tops. Is this correct? Aerospace is for the dash correct? Please advise....Thx.

After everyone's recommendations I used the 303 Fabric Protector and it worked great. I had to have my local shop order it because they didn't normally stock it. It was worth the wait.

The "303 Aerospace Protectant" for vinyl, rubber & most leather. It can not be used on the "Porsche Natural Leather" since it does not have a polymer coating on the surface of the leather.
I have the full leather option on my Porsche but it is not the Natural Leather thus since 2006 I have been using the 303 Protectant on the leather seats, leather door panels & leather dash. Thus far no sign of sun damage or drying.

My '06 Cab beads up like it's new. I use 303 High Tech Fabric Guard twice a year.

We have the sun & ~ 55" of rain/year.

Great information! My top currently does not bead, but it sounds like I need to treat it. My top has a few "stains" that can only be seen in certain light conditions and I'm guessing it may be road oil/grease stains. One of the continous concours winners at our PCA events says he washes his top with Woolite for dark fabrics. Not sure I want to go this route yet. Have any of you used or heard about using Woolite?

Never heard the Woolite story ... interesting. I have and have used both 303 and RaggTopp. Both have cleaners and protectant and imho work equally well. So I'd get whichever is cheaper. Amazon carries both at reasonable prices, just make sure to get the fabric version.
