Got a new set of rear deck emblems: 'Carrera' in black and 'S' in red for my white S. I was wondering what is the best way to take off the current silver emblems and apply the new ones. Should I even attempt this, or should I have a shop do this for me? My worst fear is reapplying these uneven after cleaning the surface from old residue.

DIY just mark with tape top, bottom and sides next to your old emblem, then get old ones off, clean and put new ones

lol, I just had my emblems painted the same for my black C2S. I had my shop put it on. To take off the old ones. Use some dental floss and work your way around the edge of one side and it should come off pretty easily.

yeah search - I did this and it's fairly easy - just take your time! Go slow....and it's very easy to customize these as you will with a rattle can...I know that sounds really ghetto given what it's going on - but they're plastic and take well to any regular store bought spray paint (imho) ... good luck! You're gunna love it!

What type of adhesive did you use to reattach?
