Any PDK upgrades/changes between 2010 and 2012?

About half my dealer's inventory right now is 2012 models. He's got a C2 black, C2 black cab, GTS, C2S, C4S cab, C2S cab, and a TurboS cab. In fact, he's got 10 2012 models, and 90% are PDK. (that's right, only one 6 speed!) That does not include the '12 Boxsters and Panameras.

No HW changes, just the regular software updates that seem to be released every 2-3 months, at least when I owned a PDK. That might have slowed down now that it's been available for 18+ months though.

Cool, thanks for the info - are the software updates done by the dealer under warranty?

Yes, those are warranty updates. Like any electronics manufacturer, Porsche wants all of their products on the latest software to improve efficiency and performance while also reducing maintenance (warranty work) costs.

At some point in 2010 I believe Porsche started installing the center 3rd radiator for PDK cars. My 2009 does not have this and living in FLorida and tracking the car a lot I've not run into any problems but I'd like to have extra cooling for PDK anyway.

Good to see Porsche address this.
