glazing? Brake wear warning?

glazing? Brake wear warning?
On my last DE run I got a brake wear warning light coming off the track.
I checked my (stock) pads and they still look good.
I am not quite sure what glazing is but could this be the cause?
If it is can you remove the glazing via driving or am I really off on this?
If not glazing...any other possibilites?
thanks

Bad sensor or connection perhaps? Just a guess....never heard of "glazing" as a problem.....
Did you just install new pads prior to the DE? If so, check to make sure everything is where it's supposed to be. Best,
Also, (sorry for the multiple edits) if your pads are indeed good, clear the code (two or three times perhaps) and see if it's just a track anomaly. Stranger stuff has happened......

Buck the sensore will not pick up if the pads are glazed. The sensors will only throw a light if the pad is worn down to break the connection thus triggering the light. If your pads are still thick...usually the senor is broken when pad wear gets to around 2mm...which is thin...you might have a break/crack in a wire or cracked sensor.
Since I DE a lot I took a set of old sensors and cliped the wires at the plug at about 1 inch and solder them and taped them together. I check my pad since I swap street with race pads all the time and the race pads do not have a holes for the sensor anyway.
hope this helps.
