I can no longer resist! The LED's look great. There is a 997 II at my office and every time I look at his car I get jealous about those lights. Emailed Frank at Orange tuning and he quoted me 377,00 Euro + 35,00 Euro DHL Premium. Going to place the order tomorrow.

It's probably closer to $600 USD as the exchange rate is always higher than what xe.com and others has, regardless it's still a lot cheaper than it's competition. Good for it.

If u do paypal, it will ask u if u want to use their exchange rate or the exchange rate of the visa attached to your acct . Paypals exchange rate seemed a bit high, so I selected the option to use banks rate. It came out about $20 bucks cheaper. After exchange I paid about $585.

Does anyone know if there's a way to crack open the case and manually kill the inside-column of LEDs so that you get inward-facing "C" shaped brake lights?

EDIT: Wait, now I'm confused. I googled a bit and the real 997.2 lights are also a closed loop of LEDs. Where did I get the C-shape from? I swear I've seen it before somewhere...!

Most banks, if not all now, charge a fee for foreign money transactions. American Express is 3%; that meant a fee of $17.25 in my case so I choose to simply use PayPal. Most likely a difference of less than $5 overall.

BTW: Yours look simply 'stunning'. I'm still waiting delivery for my set. They cleared customs yesterday and were en route I guess to UPS for final destination delivery. I'm still hoping to get them today.

Anyone ever try here? I know I have used this site in the past to order stuff for work and they have been very good at shipping and you can NOT beet the price if you need stuff in bulk. Some vendors will let you order "samples". 1 or 2 items to check quality.

Why? My opinion is the LED's all around looks better, the C-shaped LED looks like it ran of out LED's lol.

You are not dreaming, I've seen them as well. C-shaped for the OEM 997.2 tails

I got mine today in the mail, can't wait to install them after work! So I know I will need to remove the center screw with a Phillips but the other two screws on the sides are torx screws. Any need to buy a torx screw driver or do we not even need to touch these for the install?

i just installed the new LED i got from Frank last night.. and i was happy cause the LED lights up in the 'C' shape just like OEM !

I looked at those too and they are different then the "dectane" manufactured ones. Most owner's who got the dectane's and paid a little more is because the dectane's are the closest looking to OEM's LED pattern and shape. Notice the lighting and signal pattern of the ones sold at "alibaba" website... they do not look oem and definitely look more aftermarket. just my opinion...
