Starting them out young

Last night I went for a ride with my two year old son. As he was getting into the car he says, "This Porsche the best Porsche in WHOLE world." Little does he know it's merely a stock C2S.
Anybody else's kids have fun things to say about their rides?
BTW, he does a spot on immitation of the flat 6 engine revving.

I took my 4 year old girl out in my car a little while back. She loves rides at disney and magic mountain. Anyhow...I told her that my car was like a rollercoaster. She was good with that. Then I took a long banking curve at like 8/10's of what the car could do. We got back of the straights and she told me "that was fun! Don't do that anymore". I have worked her back to where she can take it...but apparently you have to break them in....

We started our kids out very young. In fact, the two older boys were flying around the race track before they were born, as my wife was still doing DEs back then. She used to get a kick out of the strange looks when folks would realize that she really was going to strap the harnesses on and go, while her stomach was out to here.
I had car seats in the old 964 cab and one guy came up and asked to take a pic once, to convince his wife that he should get a 911 bc it is feasible to cart around kiddos.
Anyway, even after all that, the oldest (8) gets a bit of motion sickness, especially when the car is in Sport mode. He usually just wants the window open, and I'll try to keep it in normal mode, but I still try to push it to his limit just to get him over it.
My car is a daily driver and I take any chance I can to drive it, including taking them to hockey (bag usually in front) or any other activity.
The boys love the car, especially since I have a head unit that plays DVDs. Monsters Inc is in there right now!

My 4 year old twins are always super excited to ride with me as their normal mode of transportation is a minivan. After ever wash I usually take them out and drive around a bit.

On one such ride they told me:

Boy: Daddy, your car sounds like a motorcycle.
Girl: I think your car is like an airplane. Its loud.

Its gonna suck when the first car they drive is a beat up something-or-other thats > 10 years old. Maybe something with < 100 hp too. I fear, even with all the care and proper rearing, they may take things for granted given they are growing up with such nice things around them.

My 2 year old can now point out the last 4 generations of 911s. He hijacked this month's "Excellence".

I don't have kids myself but my nephews absolutely love the 911. Especially the sound. Their parents won't allow me to take them for a spin in the car yet (rightfully so!), but love seeing me zip by on the street.

The weekend after I picked up my 997.1, I took my 11 year old son on an especially curvey ride through the Missouri Ozarks. After he christened the front seat with his breakfast, we stopped at a WalMart for a new shirt and cleaning supplies. As I was cleaning up the passenger seat in the parking lot, the police showed up, as someone had reported that a car was being burglarized.

Son and I were on a drive a few months ago (same highways) in the 997.2, trying to keep pace with an '07 GT3 and an '11 RS. Son once again lost his breakfast, but this time he had a plastic bowl to catch the contents .

That's funny- your pcar is probably a much safer car than what the parents are driving.
