is it me or this tires are driving me crazy
Hey guys, recently sold my Carrera SII wheels ( mistake) because I bought a set of carrera sport wheels from a forum member with the F&*&*&* most noisy tires in the planet, I had this wheels on my cayman no problem at all, I had the tires road force balance when I put the tpms sensors like 3 weeks ago, but the noise not even with music goes away, maybe next time I will have to use some ear plugs..
can some one tell me, if one of the rear wheels is not straight is the only way to tell vibration? or can it be also noise on tires??
I am adding a video from you tube so you guys can feel my pain..

I have Carrera Sport wheels w/ Pzero tire and my car is loud at speeds... I think it is those tires. Mine only have about 13K miles on them and they are in good shape, so switching them out is not necessary, but the road noice is more than what I expected. I will be trying a different tire brand when it is time to swap them out.

It's the tires . Many of the summer only tires do this as they age and wear. Have had the same issue with Yoko's and Conti's . Only solution is to live with it as long as you can and then get new tires. My PS2's did not become louder with age so get some and you won't have the problem.

The original PZero N1s that came on the 997 are notorious for road noise. When my 997.1S hit 10k miles and I was way beyond 1/2 tread depth the noise coming from the tires was deafening on certain roads.

Now I am wondering if my tires (Rosso's) are nosier than they should be. I never had different tires on it before so I have no basis to compare with. I don't have a gauge to measure either and it's not near the wear indicator yet (only 6k miles), but I just noticed the center part of the tires do not have any threads at all. I never checked them when they were new but is this the normal Rosso thread pattern?
