Its all about the LOOKING SICK! Im doing the same thing. Its all about low profile, wide tires and a BIG wing. Im also new to the Porsche world it and i think this will make it look bad ***. not big on the GT3 badge .. But I'm all about the look...I will save all my oem parts and when I sell the car to move up i can return it back to stock..

Some may say its a waste of money, I say its my money!

Don't know about smoking a new turbo, but will definitely take out any gt3's in a straight line.

Sport design vs GT3 front

I have a 2009 carrera s with the stock front bumper, im debating either a GT3 front or a Sport design (aerokit) front.. my question is: if i go for the sport dsign kit, do i need to change any brackets to hold the bumper? Because from wat i heard a GT3 front conversion requires to change the ducts, radiator stuff, and bumper brackets..

Now my question is am im going to be a posser because i do this.... by now means am i putting any GT3 badges on and im going to ROCK my CARRERA smoked out on the rear. I just wanted to see some feed back. Thanks guys.
Well if you really want to do it, Just get the aero kit but keep your original emblems! Don't put the GT3 tag. Keep it as it is.

I had a 997.2 Carrera 4S with the aero kit and it just looked amazing! It's still a Carrera 4S, but the look made it just so much more fun to drive around

Red color, black leather interior with red stitching and carbon fiber all over the place. my personal favorite.

here are pictures of it:

Those were pictures from the world roadshow we had in Jordan a few weeks ago. you can see the whole article here:

Told you so you can check the link for more pictures of that beauty

the original Carrera 4S emblem kept it all genuine and respectable. That's why you should keep your emblems the way they are

I can't speak to the 997.2 cars, but I put a GT3 bumper on my 997.1S Cab and had no issues with brackets, etc. It was a straight swap. Not easy to remove the bumper the first time, but it's now very straightforward and quick.
I'd suggest you go with the OEM GT3 bumper in that the lower splitter (which you will scuff or break sooner or later) is reasonably priced and very simple to install.
Again, this is true for the 997.1 cars and I presume that Porsche did not fundamentally change all this for the .2 cars.
