I just called the shop in St. Louis that I'll be using and they do the sport/sport plus upgrade for $1270 installed. That seems very reasonable. They mentioned something about the exhaust - is there a modification to the exhaust as part of this package? I didn't want to sound ignorant so I didn't really dig into it with the tech on the phone.

 

That sounds like a great price, certainly better than what I paid! The exhaust has nothing to do with it unless you already have the PSE. Depending on whether you do or not, determines which button pack they need to install in your car.

Another angle your shop might be taking, that mine tried to take ... They're probably trying to get you to buy the PSE and do the install all at the same time because of the button pack overlap. Don't buy into it ... Just get it when you're ready for it.

 

He didn't push anything about the exhaust really--- I don't believe I currently have the sport exhaust - is there much of a difference and do you know about what that costs on average? I doubt I really need it... He may have assumed that I already had it too.
