purchased and installed the dension unit last year from eric @ bumperplugs.

very happy.. til last week.

i took the ipod out and replaced it with an iphone (i know.. iphone doesnt work with dension.. but my gf need her phone charged. so, i tried to charge on the dension)
but when i replaced the iphone 30 mins later with the ipod, the dension will not automatically hook up with the ipod.. hence, no music.

suggestions?

Hey Bud,
Try a power reset. Disconnect the unit from power. If that doesn't work, try disconnecting the car batter for 10 minutes. (may be easier to disconnect the car battery depending on how you have it installed.) Try the classic computer reset first.

 

iPhone works fine with the Dension. I emailed Carlitos already with the reset suggestion. Also try another ipod to see if it's working too.

Also, even though it was working before, is this a cd changer car? If not, was it ever programmed?

 

it was a cd changer car before the dension install.. jamie, the super-installer, got it working beautifully b4. btw , since i didn't install it, where is the reset button? lol
