Could be the vario, not sure to be honest. Was repeatable on the dyno, not noticeable driving, and would go away with 1psi lower boost. No difference in AFR either.

911isKing is infamous around these parts
several questions

First post here on behalf of my dad and his 05 Carrera..

Was wondering when this kit will be available...?
Is it doable by an inexperienced but highly motivated diyouselfer?

Thanks Vivid

Its basically available to preorder. The tuning is 95% done per as the ECU's are similar between the 3.6 and 3.8L, the parts we have reviewed fitment and all the parts are very close. So this will be the first kit. But as we are building kits to order at around 4-6 weeks till we catch up, you can place a small deposit.

We had a special guest Mermel Bieber come baseline dyno the car today. It made 284rwhp on a Mustang Dyno and ambient temp of 100F.

Interesting... the 3.8L 997 with 355 HP made less HP on the dyno than the 996 C4 ??

Please note the baseline from the silver 996C4s. The yellow 996C4s had a issue with the weather station on the Mustang dyno so it read higher, but notice the delta which is more important. 2wd, Mustang Dyno, 105F, 91oct - Your car is close to being spot on with a 15% drivetrain loss.
