Ghost fan activity?
OK, I'm stumped. I have a 2005 C2S. The car was sitting in the garage all this morning. Went out to run a couple of quick errands, all told drove about 20-25mi, made 2 stops, back home ~1 hr later. It's 90 deg F outside (much cooler than it has been in the past week - has been well over 100).
I get home, put the car back in the garage, and go inside. Everything shuts off as usual. About 15 mins after I get home, I start hearing some noise, figured it was construction next door. 5-10 mins later, I go in to the garage for something else, and the fan on the Porsche was running! I opened the driver's door, and it immediately stopped.
Is this normal activity, for the fan to come on AFTER the car has been stopped and sitting for several minutes, and to run for 10+ minutes?

Yes, it is normal. The fan in the engine compartment is programmed to come on at a certain temperature, whether the car is running or not. When you stop the car, the temperature in the engine compartment can increase after you stop the engine due to heat soak. That can trigger the fan, and it will run until the engine compartment temperature drops below the set tempersture.
