New C2S - what mods?

Hi all,

Just got a new C2S Coupe - Artic/Black, PDK, Sports Chrono, Bose, Nav, Power/Heated/Ventilated Seats, Dynamic Lights, Heated Steering Wheel, Self Dimming, XM - it truly is my dream car.

After two days I hard wired my Valentine via the excellent instructions on here.

What other mods/accessories do you guys recommend?

I've already bought the clear side markers. Mine has the 911 decal on the rear - toyed with the idea of adding the "S" decal but undecided.

Would love to hear some opinions.

Thanks!

If money is an issue.......get the short shifter, makes the car feel so much more sporty for minimal dollars spent!
Edited...just saw the year of your car!

+1. you're all set for now with the clear sides.

You can do 100 things later, when you get around to it, or if you're going to keep it for awhile, after the warranty expires.

Re adding the 'S' to the rear emblem, you'd need to remove the 911 and buy all new stuff, just to get it centered properly. totally not worth it.

Thanks Jack - I sorta feel the same way about the "S" emblem.

Perhaps a new wheel/hub assembly...? lol!

All kidding about recalls aside, your car sounds awesome. Like what Jack said, I'd enjoy it as-is for a while.

I'm not sure if you can add an S now since the 911 is centered. It would be a bit off unless you do it from scratch and center the whole 911S emblem
(which is quite easy)

i agree on waiting to do any real mods. imo, get to know the car first before making any changes except maybe some simple things like the red S and colored caps (i'm a fan of both).

now if you do want to add the "S" to the emblem (available from suncoast), it's very easy. take off the current one with dental floss and a hairdryer. clean area with clay bar or tar remover, reapply emblem using 3M emblem adhesive or similar (advanced auto parts has it). i'm sure you can figure out how to center and level it without too much brain damage.

rear window tint ??
Stainless door guards ?
colored seat belts ? red would look good in your car's case.
any carbon fiber in interior ?
footrests in aluminum

Just some ideas...

Some fine tuning for the nut that holds the steering wheel. Then start saving for tires and brakes.
