c4s refuses to start again after a long journey

here in the us it's about $1000 for a manual car. It seems teh auto granny's are more difficult and require a tranny drop
Again. No problem if under warranty and it's a known issue.

I would say the culprit is the starter cable as mentioned in a previous post. Mine does behave a little bit in the same way. When the cable is hot, it is not conducting electricity very well, and significant drops are seen causing the voltage to the starter to be too low for cranking the engine.
The fix is not easy and is expensive.

it would help if u can tell us what the P-dealer tried in the last 4 weeks while they were trying to fix it..
Most likely, they must have checked the starter, the alternator, fuel pump and line..
what else did they try ?

Hard start when hot.
I bought a 2008, C4S last spring. It's exhibitng the same behavior as you described. I could probably do the work myself if I had specifics on what parts to get. Does anyone have those details?
Thanks,
Thanks,
