Leaky Back Passenger Window

Hello
I have a 2006 997, 34,000 miles.

Just picked it up.

But I've noticed that when I go thru the car wash, the rear passenger side window leaks pretty dramatically.

It has also started to rattle a bit.

Where do I go with such a problem?

Is it a common occurrence on this model?

I was told by my service manager that there is a bolt that tightens the rear side windows. I asked because I get a creak/pop when I exit driveways sometimes. There might be a tsb about it.
Hope this helps.

I take it you use one of those drive-through car wash outfits? I wouldn't take these cars through anything like that. One key reason it they fire high pressure water at these odd angles, and that water has to go somewhere. Suggest a search on here to see many, many oyher reasons why they are a bad idea.

That being said, my window has no such issues and I haven't heard of this being common or anything. Do you have CPO? Then it's a quick stop at the dealer. If not, I'd go sooner rather than later to a trusted indy.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Yeah I do take my car thru those touchless car washes.
I justify it since its easy and fast, and doesn't touch.

I sometimes wash by hand but it takes so long and I also feel like it might cause more swirls.

Btu that is kind of an excuse I guess.
