Burst my dream and tell me these wheels won't fit a NB

Hi,

I recently came across a set of rims but think they are toooo wide for the NB.

Please tell me if i'm dreaming to even think that I had a chance to fit the rims onto my car.

They are the champion rims with:

19 x 8.5 53mm
19 x 11.5 44mm

oh god do I want these rims so bad, just can't seem to find one at a decent price!

Fronts will but the rears will stick way out. Stock is 67 I believe.....stock Turbo widebody rims are 51 so those 44's are going to stick way out past the fender I bet.

They might fit...but the car will look strange - rear wheels wiill extend 23mm beyond what the NB fitment should be.

You will have to stretch the tire in the rear(285) and slam the car. Here is a 11.5 with a 35 offset i think. If you like the look id go for it. I love this look.

Short of a sawsall I'd look for another set. Keep looking and you'll find what you are looking for in the correct size. I've tried putting the wrong sizes on in the past and it just ended up costing more money when I ending up selling them and buying the right ones.

I'm here to do anything BUT burst your dreams and tell you that they will fit! The fronts are a non issue. My car as pictured above is running 19x11 +25 and they fit, albeit stretching a 285/30/19.

Here is my car today, with 19x11.5 +44 on 295/30/19's in the rear. Lowered significantly on JIC coilovers and I don't rub, even with 2 people in the car. It does not stick out too far and in my opinion is the best fitment i've ever had in all my 10 sets of wheels. Pick those wheels up!

Why on earth would you want a smaller rear tire than stock on a car like this except for winter driving in the snow? Why would anyone want to hamper the handling of a Porsche like this and use tires than are not as wide as stock?

Stock tires on narrowbody 997 is 295/30/19. He can run stock sizes with his new Champion wheels no problem. If you're referring to my old setup with the 285/30/19's, well, that's why it's my old setup and i'm running a minimum 295/30/19 now.

All tires do not have the same section width. It might be possible to make it with a particular tire. The 295 in the photo above looks a bit stretched compared to my 295 PS2 also on an 11.5.

Problem is i love the c2s handling over the c4s so i would rather give up on the rims than the car

Has anyone tried 19x12 +44mm on a narrow body?
