I took off the Fabspeed X pipe and Fabspeed CAI on my C4S before I traded it. Should I put them on my new GTS???

I would hold off...not really sure why but I like the idea of keeping a GTS stock since it is the perfect 911 IMO...at least for a while.

X-Pipe for sure. I just installed the Sharkwerks bypass on my GTS and haven't turned on my stereo since. The sound is amazing by removing the center muffler.

Probably wouldn't install the CAI though, too questionable performance v long-term maintenace.

The air box is different unless you have the X-51 already in your C4S.

I'd keep the intake stock on your GTS and just put the X-pipe on. I'm all about modding (obviously by my sig) but I think the GTS is the perfect 911 and i'd keep that baby mostly stock.

^ +1. Maybe sourcing the X51 carbon fiber airbox used on the 911 Sport Classic would be nice. It's the same Powerkit as in the GTS but, somehow, the GTS's airbox is not in carbon fiber IIRC. It should be a direct replacement but wouldn't give you more performance as both the GTS and the Sport Classic have the same hp rating. It would be more for looks, if that matters to you.

Is there an X51 option for the .2? I know there is the powerkit that uses a different intake, is this available already.

Hi Waxer, I would go for it and see how you like everything. It makes no sense not to give it a try and see the results. Our Carbon Fiber Intake and the X Pipe really wake up the 997, so it will make the same improvements on the GTS. PM me if you have any questions and keep us updated if you decide to do it
thanks, I look forward to seeing the results.

I am putting my Sharkwerks X-pipe onto my GTS soon. I also have a 997.2 plenum by IPD but it will not work on the GTS so I am going to sell it.

Keep the stock intake, add the crossover pipes and gundo-hack your stock mufflers. You'll have the sound you are looking for a lot less out-of-pocket expense.
