Thanks for sharing...IMHO it looks very good, as any new model Porsche should, but hasn't changed enough to overwhelm me. Doesn't mean it won't be significantly improved in many ways but IMHO again it's simply another new style. If anything, makes me appreciate the great job they did with the 997. As some have mentioned, I look forward to seeing the turbo, GT3, etc...this is where I may get the WOW factor.

The 911 should remain a little edgier, but perhaps Porsche was hearing differently from the peanut gallery?

The Taillights and wheels are the ONLY things I've seen of the 991 that I've liked.
Don't like the new interior layout (I owned a Panamera...it's great for the Panamera, not a Carrera), don't like the taller rear end, don't like the look of the new turn signals, don't like that there engine is no 100% hidden, and don't like the added length.
I think the 991 is to the 997 as the 996 was to the 993. Progress in almost every technical aspect, but somehow a step backwards overall.
And YES, I am defending my passion for my 997.
