finally found something I don't like about my Carrera

I don't mind the visors. I just wear my glasses if I need them.

our car has sun visors ??
i thought it was a wind-deflector for when the top was down..
i just drive with my maui jims, too.
seriously tho, did anyone check to see if the area of visibility is similar to other cars ? i.e. the space between the bottom of the visor (when down) to the edge of the dash.

Among my cars, the Suburban has the best set-up, with a big visor (I know that's not practical in a 911), but what's cool is that is has an extender that comes out the side, so that there's a huge amount of coverage. The Passat has a similar scheme, where the visor moves along the top rail. While the visor is on your side window, the visor itself extends rear-ward to provide the coverage near my head.
In the 911, the visor goes to the side, but since I have the seat adjusted rear-ward, the visor does not block any sun coming in from the driver's side.
That's why I bought the wrap sunglasses, but I'm thinking about something like this or this.
I found the one I bought initially here, and - like I said earlier - it's terrible. Looking at it again - it might help those who aren't happy about the front coverage (vertically). It didn't help me on the side, though.
Hope any of that is helpful to others, and - if I ever find one of these things that works well - I'll certainly let fellow 6-speeders know.
