To make you feel better, my 6-week-old GTS was hammered by hail in Dallas in May. SOFTBALL SIZED HAIL, that is. Yes...8-weeks of various repairs and then another week of additional repairs to catch the items that they missed (decals, windshield replaced incorrectly).
The good news is that even though it's being repaired with a 'patch', that isn't a part of the car that maintains any structural rigidity...it's just body lines. So once it's repaired, it should have zero affect on the car or the ride. The only question will be potential value via CarFax. Keep up with that over time.
Is it purchased or leased? If it's leased, just make sure it's repaired properly and turn it in on a 991 when the time comes. If it's purchased, then be prepared for the loss of value and potentially go after some insurance resolution.

Im sorry to see your car in that condition but I hope she will get a speedy recovery so we can go up Palomar / Julian drive!
