This is the first 991 image that I really like. Something about the bright color in contrast with the dark wheels that work. I think the 991 will look better in some of these 'loud' colors such as yellow, lime or ruby than the normal silvers, greys and black shades. I also love the color of the wheels (anthracite). A good dark shade without being 'black'.

i wonder if Porsche will offer some optional black headlights for the first time? that would be great!
i mean they are offering it for the Panamera. In the picture with the yellow 911 above, it looks much better in black than in chrome, esp. in combination with the darker wheels. If u look at the 458 or Gallardo, which have blacked out headlights only, those "dark eyes" scream: fastttttt!

I think the image of the yellow does have the blacked out headlamps as you are describing, but it's hard to tell. When you look at the Porsche Exclusive section at the end of the German Catalog (pg 113), the read example seems to have blacked out headlamps also. Now, whether those options will be available from Day 1 is another question...

Are all of these photos we are seeing showing the base carrera? if so, I've got to admit that this looks incredible and I can't wait to see the rest of the lineup.
Has there been any information whether or not the C4S will retain the wider hips?

Wow, and I thought our prices were high. I guess your average 25 year old isn't even thinking about financing a P-car in those jurisdictions.
