Sport chrono plus data

Has anyone used "chronolyze" ?? I would like to be able to download my 2009 C2S sport chrono plus data from the track. Just wondering if anyone has done it yet, and if there are any decent programs to analyze it. Thx jason

Other track software?

No one here has utilized their sport chrono plus data yet?? My brother is in contact with "racerender" and they are going to put together a beta version to see what they can get out of the data. I assume Porsche records like a black box, ie RPM, gear, speed, steering angle, braking, etc Anyone with any other info???

Sounds cool, but it requires Sport Chrono Plus (vs Sports Chrono) and iPod or Bluetooth.

I have a .1 with Sports Chrono so no luck for me.

maybe an answer?

You are correct that it requires sport chrono plus. The Nav may not be required for the basic data, but would be required for where you are at on the track. Just received a forwarded e-mail from Weston at "racerender" It looks like they have been able to interpret the data, including speed, RPM, lateral acceleration, lap number, lap times (more detailed, not just rounded to the second). One negative is that the info is sampled at 1hz, so there can be some "jumpiness", especially the RPMs. So, while it won't be as easy, or perfect as a $1000 dollar "traqmate type" set up, it is very reasonable in price, $35 dollars. I plan on having an "open lap" day Sept 23rd at High Plains Raceway, so if I get an good data, I'll let everyone know. This P-car capabilities of "racerender" have just recently been added, so I assume the older versions wouldn"t have it.

Just for kicks I created an account on Chronolyze and uploaded some drives from my old Panamera S. It was kind of cool seeing the drive applied on a map along with the vehicle and engine speed and other data.

Update

So I have seen the data display in "Chronolyze", it's pretty rudimentary. It does allow one to see some of the info that the car is recording, but it is nothing like "traqmate". I have also seen the data from my brother's '11 C2 downloaded to "racerender". He has sport chrono (not plus). He recorded a country road drive and sync'd it with his data, only showing speed, RPMs, and lateral G's. Come Sept 23rd, he and I are going to High Plains raceway, where I hope to get some video to overlay with my sport chrono plus data. We'll see how this poor man's traqmate set up works.
