moved to PA with a Porsche lease question
I moved from CA to PA. I have a lease for my 997 with Porsche. I also have leases on other cars from BMW and Audi. BMW and Audi sent me kits with POAs to take to the DMV (or DMV agent). Porsche insists that they can't help me like that. They want me to call or go to the DMV, get instructions from the DMV, then send the instructions in writing to Porsche Financial.
This seems like a hell of a lot of work for a $100,000 car. Has Porsche never transfered a lease to PA? Am I nuts?
Thanks for any advice and letting me vent.

You've only scratched the surface of how difficult it is to work w/ PFS. I originally wanted to transfer the lease of my previous '08 C2S but PFS was so rigid (they don't transfer leases, they simply add the transferee as the Primary lessor) that I ended up buying out the lease an then selling it to the buyer. I guess they don't make it easy like Audi and BMW because they don't have to?!

I was not impressed.
When I said I would share what BMW and Audi sent because they clearly understood the process, I was told they were not interested.
I may just buy out the lease. Willful ignorance really pisses me off.

BMW leasing is quite advanced (even though i do not favor leasing in general) .
Porsche leasing is an entirely different ball game .
1) You can follow their steps .
or
2) buy the car .
I have opted for #2 and have never leased a Porsche .
