it happened
somebody scratched my 1.5 week old GTS on the spoiler
good thing it looks like a heavy swirl mark and only visible in an angle....it seems like they spilled something and tried to wipe it with something metalic on the cloth.
My wife says i'm over-reacting but it bugs the hell out of me especially its a new car

Get some Meguiar's 205 or similar polish and a microfiber pad. Try gently buffing the area to see if you can blend the scratch a little. Depending on how deep it is, it just might work. If you have access to a random orbital polisher, you could do the whole spoiler and make it good as new. Put this in the detailing forum along with a photo of the damage and you'll get a lot of suggestions.

kevin is correct
What your describing most probable can be corrected with detail work.
It is a scratch (finger nail deep) or swirl? Big difference.
My car had so many swirls when I picked her up (hey, it was cheap); that it looked terrible and I immediately kept it in the garage and would not take it out.
I spent 18 hrs over several days on it with an orbital buffer and at my next DE everyone thought I bought a new car.
Hope it works out.

thanks for the advise.....I took the car to work and see if anybody notices the scratches and nobody said anything about it.
i showed it to a detailer from my other car club and he told me that it is a 10 min. job. going to bring it to his shop and he'll do it for free
