to tint or not to tint
#32
I added a 35% tint to mine (legal limit) and its like I havent done anything at all.
Maybe people arent as **** as I am, but I havent seen any talk about the issue with the polka dot textures at the edge of the windows (Im not sure if the cab has these polka dotted fades at the edges of its windows).
With all tinted windows that have the polka dotted edges around the window edges, youll notice that the tint does not adhere to the glass as smoothly as it does in other areas. This was an 'issue' with the tint I had to get used to.
There is no real solution to fixing this, but after its dried for a week or two, you can try and "smooth" it out (make the non-adherence more uniform) by running your fingers on it but you will always see a whiter outline around the edges of the windows where it doesnt adhere to the polka dots. Now that I have that issue I notice it a lot on all the other aftermarket tinted cars.
Just something to keep in mind.
