First Porsche!

First Porsche!
After years of going back and forth, I finally bought my first Pcar, an '05 C2S Cabriolet. The search lasted around 4 months, and when I was about to give up the search for another year, I found the perfect one with everything I was looking for. Here are the particulars:
-20K on the clock
-Arctic Metallic Silver
-Full Black Leather
-6spd manual
-Navigation
-1 owner
-Painted rear console
-Sport Short Throw shifter
-Full Power/Heated Seats
-Bose "upgrade"
-Porsche Crests in Headrests
-Aluminum Foot Rests
-Metal Door Carrera S Insignia
I added:
-Clear Side Markers
-Dension 500 Ipod Integration with AudioEngine Wireless Ipod System
The only option that would have been nice is the Sport Chrono, but I love the clean look of the full leather dash without it. I've attached some mediocre pics.
My previous car was an 05 Merc CLK500 Cabriolet. There is absolutely no comparison between the 2. I find myself never wanting to stop driving...

Welcome to the obsession. They are truly unbelievable cars. Find some driving instruction near you to be totally amazed at what your car can do in a controlled environment.
Enjoy driving the new ride.

Now get some new wheels, LED rears, and drop it.... I just got my 06 C2 almost 2 months ago...it does not seem to get old driving it. I travel 4 days a week and seem to miss the car more and more when I'm gone. When I get home, I kiss the wife, hug the kids, then stare at the 997 in the garage for a few minutes! I have to keep it in that order!

Awesome car! You have a lot more patience than me! I took one on a test drive, then immediately wanted to buy it. After I couldn't get that car, I had purchased the one I own a week later! Congratulations!

You're not kidding, it nearly killed me. But this was by far the most I ever spent on a car, so I wanted the perfect one my budget would allow. My wife had always told me if I gave her a child, I could get a Porsche- needless to say, when she told me she was pregnant, I ran, not walked to find one and the search went full time and NATIONAL.
I ended up finding it in South Dakota of all places. Within 48 hours of first talking to the owner, I had a plane ticket and check in hand. I then had an incredible 1000 mile drive home.
The engineering is mind-numbing- it feels like it was sculpted from a block of granite instead of just a bunch of parts thrown together.
